Assocation- races throughout winter with Finals in May. Must qualify for finals

Winter Series Races start times:

Office Opens at 9

Time onlys 9-10

Open arena

Pewee 10:45

Open starts at 11:00

Open Rules- Must make 12 open runs to qualify for finals-BOTH opens count

You can also use multiple horses to qualify!

Clean slate finals based on a 2 run average

Finals awards in each division to a minimum of 3rd place in each division

SENIOR rules-

Age 45 and over

Must make 6 runs to qualify for finals

Clean slate finals based on 2 run average

Buckles in each D

YOUTH Rules-

Age 18 and under

Must make 6 runs to qualify for finals

Clean slate finals based on 2 run average

Buckles in each D.

If you enter youth, you cannot enter pewee

NOVICE rules-

Horse is to NOT have won over $500 as of nomination date OR person is not to have won over 500.

Must make 6 runs to qualify for finals. If you are nominated and your horse wins over 500 you can no longer enter the novice, but you will be eligible to run at finals.

FUTURITY- Horses born after January 1 2020 & 2021 (4 & 5 and younger as of January 1, 2025) who have not competed in any barrel racing for any money or awards before November 15th 2024. Must make 3 runs to qualify for finals. Clean slate finals based on 2 run average. Β Buckles in each D

DERBY- Horses born after January 1 2018, 2019 & 2020 Β (5-7 as of January 1 2025). Must make 6 runs to qualify for finals. Clean slate finals based on 2 run average. Buckles in each D

PEWEE-

10 and under (if you enter the youth you cannot enter the pewee) must attend 2 to qualify for awards.

Pewees receive prizes for your nomination. Pewee Buckles will be to 4d winners Β (same format as payout during the regular season). Pewee Is 1 go at finals Β 

No limit on the number of horses you can nominate, provided that horse qualifies for that specific class

Finals- 2 run average for each class. You may carry over from Open to other classes (youth, senior or novice & futurity, Derby)

Average is on horse/rider combo at finals- you cannot switch horses during the finals.

Buy in- Β $50 for each missing run, or 200. Whichever is less.

Must attend at least 1 prior date to buy in & pay nomination.

Finals awards are in each division in the open! Youth, senior, novice, futurity & Derby buckles to first in each D.

Payout in all classes is a 4d format with 1/2 second splits, except futurity & Derby is a 2D class with a 1 second split
